Product Overview

Copper Chlorophyll (Oil Soluble) is a natural green colorant obtained by replacing the magnesium atom in chlorophyll with copper, extracted from alfalfa and other green plant sources. Unlike water-soluble sodium copper chlorophyllin, this grade is specially formulated to dissolve directly in triglycerides, vegetable oils, mineral oil and lipophilic ingredients without emulsifiers.

Copper substitution greatly improves pigment stability against light, heat and oxidation. It delivers rich, attractive olive-green to deep green tones for all oil-phase formulas, replacing synthetic green dyes for clean-label products. Widely accepted for clean label, natural food and cosmetic formulations globally.

Q1: Is oil soluble copper chlorophyll the same as sodium copper chlorophyllin?A: No. Sodium copper chlorophyllin is water soluble. This grade is oil soluble for fat/oil phase. Do not mix up for formulation.

Q2: Can I get free sample?A: Yes, sample available for lab formulation test; customer covers freight cost.

Q3: Is it stable during high temperature processing?A: Much more stable than natural chlorophyll. For high-temperature sterilization, we suggest pre-testing in your own oil matrix.

Q4: Can you produce custom concentration?A: Yes, we can adjust pigment concentration and carrier oil (sunflower oil, MCT oil etc.) on request.
